Locking files ?

I have the running system Windows 7 Home Premium and I would like to lock a excel document so it would require a password to open it ... is this possible ? And if so how ? :)

In Excel 2003 it's under tools > options > save
The password you want to modify is the one to open the document

Excel 2007 - pass.... never actually looked for it tbh. Possibly under file - document properties or when you save it under options tab

File > save as > bottom left (tools or options) click on general options

There will be something about passwords to open / modify

It's always possible that the Office Starter programs have restricted features, and password-protecting may be one of those omitted. (I can't say for definite, because I have never used it...)
