Electricity bill for studio flat?

I know it will vary a lot, but - on average - what kind of monthly electricity bill can I expect on a small-ish one bedroom studio flat in Central London? (about 400 square foot/38 square metres).

Thanks!

How can anyone answer that without knowing a) what sort of heating is there in the flat (gas/electric/E7), and b) how many hours a day you will have the heating on and how warm?
Also how will you provide your DHW?
    Just too many variables.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Sorry! Heating is gas, so not an issue. Hot water is covered, too. So I just wanted a rough guide on general electricity use.

    Maybe 250kWh per month?
The only other high cost electrical items are cookers, electric showers and tumble driers/washing machines. If your heating and hot water is via gas, that'll be the main expense.

A friend of mine who stays on his own is at present using 2 kWh a day electricity for cooking, washing machine and his computer. He eats out a lot though.

Hot water is another 2 kWhs a day but that is night rate.
