Cost of moving an electricity pole
Hi,
my elderly parents live in a bungalow. When it was extended about 8 years ago, they had to move a pole situated in their front garden. They were charged about £1000 by the electricity company.
The pole was resituated behind an existing garage. They now need to resite the garage to allow for ease of access. This means moving the pole again! I have read some old posts suggesting this might be something the electricity company should pay for. Is there any advice?
