Watch Insurance

Hi Guys,

I have just been given a watch for my birthday and it's value is significant at £5200 and I want to insure it asap.

Can anyone reccommend an insurance company for watches or do you think my household insurance will cover it to this value?

I also want to ensure that it is covered incase i ever got mugged for it.

All thoughts apreciated.

Thanks.

Normally a named specific item on the household policy would be best. speak to your home insurer.

It would be fairly expensive to have such a fairly high value item on person possessions cover needed for out the home cover.... check with them but also look at stand alone policies
