HMV Customer Support

It's fair enough to have a go if they're bad, but on receiving the wrong edition of a CD which I subsequently gave as a Xmas present anyway, HMV decided to refund the £3 difference in price that I requested. Well done for listening to the customer HMV!

so you're thanking them for charging you what they should have charged you in the first place, but you had to bring to their attention after they messed up....or am I reading this wrong?.... :)

  • Agreed they did mess up (they sent a 1 disk version where I had actually ordered a 2 disk special edition), but of course they offered to accept back the wrong CD and replace with the one I ordered for the Xmas pressie. (I had already given the one they sent as the pressie so that was not an option)
After my recent experiences with Currys and Lovefilm, I am feeling in a generous spirit to anyone who makes even a little effort to give true customer support!!
