in the drop down menu the option i've selected is "holiday" as there wasn't an option for "travelling" nor was there a "other" option and felt this was closest! however not sure you would class going away for 12 months as a holiday0

Its not going to happen mate - do you have anything you can sell or is a loan from parents/family an option.
I can tell you with 100% certainty you will not get a loan from a bank or other reputable lender.0 -

If it was your money to lend, would you consider this individual a sensible risk to take?
Personally I doubt whether even the friendly local loan shark would lend £7,500 to someone planning a twelve month sojourn in Australian.0 -
I have a guaranteed job when i get out there and will earn money to play football, i would be clearing whats equal to £400 when out there... i will already have the first 16 months paid for from the money i will be leaving in my bank and my current job..(where i am CURRENTLY employed) have said i can have a job when i get back,(Although in a different department for less money) thats how i plan on paying it off.. so...can anyone still not help? and is the bottom line the fact i wont get one?
Thanks0 -
Are they not going to wonder why you need £7.5k to go on holiday? You won't get a loan, thats the only answer you'll get, sorry it aint the right one0

My dad could be an option but he says all his money is invested and he can't get to it, otherwise i know he would! my mother is short on cash so she wouldn't be able to!0

You are going to repay the loan from the loan?

Please dont be tempted to go to a payday loan company. I went to Oz in the 90's for 3 years with my then aussie wife. I went with virtually no money and worked different jobs while getting around, funnily enough I played football too but didnt get paid for it wheareas I did in the UK, albeit not much.0
