Hi
Please can anyone help me
I currently do not have a current joint account with my OH as he had a bad credit rating about 4 yrs ago. We pay bills separately as we dont have have any joint bills in our name.
If I open a joint account will I be linked to my OH? My credit rating is very good. Will my credit rating be affected?
I would be grateful for any information

Yes, you will be financially linked if you open a joint current account or any joint credit facility. You should consider carefully before proceeding. Before you ask, yes, I work for a bank, but no, I didn't get a bonus!0

How bad was it? Bankrupcy? Just missed payments? Has he changed his ways? Just thoughts springing to my mind to consider before you do anything. I am all for joint accounts with a spouse, just hoping you have considered these points as wellMortgage Balance10 August 2011 £238863.97:eek:Aim: £220500 @ 10/08/120
