I'm looking for a similar dress! Have found one I like online that is sold at a boutique near me but I have no idea at prices at the moment. Might go down the dressmaker route, think my mum might know someone actually.

  • I had exactly the same requirements and ended up buying from Cutting Edge Brides (http://cuttingedgebrides.com/default.aspx).

Luckily for me, they were having an end of line clearance on Ebay and managed to pick up a bargain... but I think their normal price dresses are around the £500 mark.

I've seen that website a couple of times and just realised that their store isn't that far away from me (just over the river!) So might have to take a trip there when the time comes!

  • Hiya,

My dress is from Lou lou bridal. They start at about £500 and funnily enough one of my friends said it reminded her of Audrey Hepburn in funny girl.

The web site is Lou Lou bridal . co . uk (cos I'm new I'm not allowed to post a link sorry) my dress is LB15 and is lovely and great quality in real life as well as not breaking the bank :j

    Hi Leigh

I'm getting married next year and am in love with LB15! Bet you can't wait to wear it. Would you mind telling me how much it cost so I can see if it's in my budget please?
  • I've been looking at a website called cutting edge brides for 50's style dresses

They're seem pretty reasonable but are in Dartford so not sure if that is any good for you. Candy Antony is lovely but really expensive (1500 - 2000 for a wedding dress). I've seen some of their dresses advertised on sites like preloved and gumtree so might be worth a look there.
