    I would think so.. it is obviously still sealed.. Some of these 'vintage wines' are REEEEEALY old so I'm sure a year would be acceptable..

  • depends upon the wine. Some are not good to store.
    I would cook with it. Use to marinade beef or lamb, especially with poorer cuts of meat. Great tenderiser.
    Then brown the meat and add the juices from the marinade and anything else you would normally use put in a stew. cook as normal. nice in tomato sauces too.
    Can poach pears in it with some juniper and sugar.
