Not only are the companies increasing their tariff, they are also increasing their standing charges, Atlantic have increase their standing charges by a whopping 47%. when challenged they said that this increase didn't cover the cost of supply to their customers. Amazed they're still in business.

You don't mention any specifics about your tariff with Atlantic but disproportionate increases in standing charges appears to be a common feature in recent tariff changes.

Sounds as though it's time for you to do some price comparisons and then consider your switching options.
