Saved £165 on Building & Contents insurance

Hi there

Just to let everyone know how helpful this site was when it came to our building & contents insurance.

We received the quote of £418 but after browsing this website I was determined not to pay so much and decided to get some other quotes, I would have just stuck with our prvious provider and paid what they wanted as we thought, just like so many others that we were getting the best deal and that our provider would offer us the best price possible.

The other quotes we got were really lower than the original, so it was time to contact our provider and ask why.

They told us our quote was a bit high and reduced it to £253, a saving of £165.

Would they have been so generous if I hadn't phoned, I don't think so.

All the people out there must check these quotes when they come in, don't just take it for granted that these providers are giving you a great deal.

My many thanks go to Martin and the user of this website who offer information, I now visit every day and I am sure I will make more saving in the future, Great Job Folks.:D :T :rotfl:

Try www.quidco.com Go to the insurance section and run two quotes from
Barclays and Motorquote Direct-don't worry the house insurance is on their page.
If then you decide clear all your cookies(important)Register and login with Quidco and enjoy the cashback(not guaranteed)
My guess is it should beat your current quote
