    Morning all!
Just when the house is finally tidy again the decorator called round last night to see if he could do the hall and stairs tomorrow. Its a combination of :T and .
At least there's nothing really to do before they come - just take a few pictures down. By Weds everything will be completely done - hurrah!

    So today's list...
    • Take leftover flooring back to the shop for a refund - there's 2 packs left so will defo be getting the money back on those Tried but the manager wasn't in so couldn't get a refund - will trt again tomorrow
    • Go to Dunelm for "finishing touches" - lightshade, storage box etc Done, got some nice reasonably priced bits
    • Walk dog lots Done
    • Drop colour choices for paint off at decorators (only round the corner) Done
    • Post Lovefilm DVDs back Done
    • All food from stores Done
    • Finish off sofa chair
    • Do mini touch up of my decorating where floor man made a few tiny marks
    • Drop Avon book off at Avon lady's house Done
    • Clean fridge
    • Maybe do some school work
    That's it for now......

No question is a silly question in my opinion! If you go to the old style board every week there is a thread where you do household tasks over the week - I area per day so I think this week its the master bedroom. From what people say is over time you end up doing hardly any house work :j (I never get that far as I loose enthusiam after a couple of weeks! :o)

the recipe I posted would be fine with fresh toms. I'll post up my spicy tom & lentil soup later. Also you can freeze toms whole or chopped to put into sauces. I hear tom chutney is delish but I can never be @rsed! :o hope that helps!

    Aiming to get Debt Free.
  • as promised spicy lentil soup using canned toms but no reason why you can't use fresh. Also its not an exact science more or less of the ingredients depending on taste & what you have! It says a whole tube of purree but I only ever use a squirt! Hope you like it x

    1 x Medium Onion (diced)
    2-3 Tablespoons Olive Oil
    350g Red Lentils
3 x 400g Chopped Plum Tomatoes (value from mr T are fine if you like)
2 Litres Boiling Chicken Stock (Cubes are fine)
    1 tube x 200g Tomato Puree
1 level teaspoon Medium Chilli Powder

Heat the oil in a large saucepan over a medium heat and cook the onion until soft but not coloured. Add the rest of the ingredients. Bring to a simmer and cook for 30-40 minutes until the lentils are soft. Blend with a hand blender or liquidiser and serve. If cooling, transfer into a shallow container with a large surface area to speed up the cooling process and fridge within 90 minutes. If you like the soup spicier, add more chilli, but remember, you can add more, but you can't take it away.
