When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym. :money:
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important.
Morning gang  Here we are again back at Monday! The weekends go even faster when you're working! Working a half day at home, so will have the afternoon to myself:dance: and also save 40miles of petrol & an hour to boot
Today:
I made this for tea last night (first post) & its delish would definitely recommend

Today:
- work hard & be productive
- hang up washing - looking a bit miserable here today
- hopefully it'll brighten up!
- post the magpie parcel - if I do nothing else today...!
- send letter to Virgin & morgan & stanley re ppi
- send letter to Halifax re charges
- flylady - should be minimal as we had a crazy half hour yesterday
- breakfast lunch & dinner from the stores - checking what needs using up in the fridge first
- go to the gym & for a swim afterwards
- quick shower
- find out what's going on with our energy switch & also if when we move can we take fixed deal with us?
- sort out understairs cupboard

If you go onto the Nectar website and click on the 'spend points' tab, you can chose where to convert your points into vouchers. There's a large selection to chose from. 500 points converts to £2.50 unless it's a double value offer, and is the same for Sain$bury's as it is for Amazon. I hardly ever shop in Sain$bury's but I have a few books on my wish list on Amazon, and I'm in need of a mini treat to keep me sane so thought it was a good use of the points
It was either that or my next post would be from a prison cell.....:rotfl:Making magic with fabricLight travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.0 -
