how many vouchers can u actually use when using it on a purchase? I am addicted to extreme couponing and i really wanna get stuck in! xx0
-
Can I use multiple vouchers if this is the case?
Can you tell I have been watching Extreme Couponing?!0 -
I have also been watching extreme couponing for a while now,I have also been watching a US news channel online and they have recently said that some supermarkets are cutting down on doubling up etc in the US.
I really like the couponers who give some of their wares to charities and shelters, but I'm not so keen on those who just seem to be feeding their greed.
One of the women featured this week was vile and I know if I spoke to my OH in a supermarket like she did I would be up for divorce!
I only coupon on a mild scale(all my tips come from this site)
But managed to save over £22 today in Mr T's I used two coupons of the same thing and two which were in conjunction with sale offers + two till spits + a forgotten clubcard voucher from the internet.
But My Mr T's by me is very good and the staff are brill.
PS.It helps to go shopping early before the SA's have been on the till all day.;)0 -
I have been inspired by Extreme Couponing and went to Tesco's today with some coupons. My shopping came to £31 and I got it for £21. If I wanted to be really pedantic, I could say that my shopping was closer to £40 as some of the offers were BOGOF or half price (although I wouldn't have got them if they weren't on offer, so I'm only claiming on the £30). I am a newbie to couponing, but I'm pleased with my first attempt.
1. I got a till-spit for 'spend £30 get £6 off'. If I only spent £30, it works out to be a 20% savings so I decided to limit my spend to £30 as I normally shop else where.
2. In the Price Crunch brochusre is a coupon for £1 off a box of quality street chocolates. They are normally £9, but are on offer for half price (£4.50). With the voucher, they are £3.50. Saving £5.50. Mr Chanie's birthday is in November and he has to do the whole 'bring in cakes on your birthday' thing for work. So, he's going to take the chocolates.
3. Also in the Price Crunch brouchure is couppon for £1 off a spend of £3 or more on yoghurts. The Petite Filous (sp) yougurts £1.50 for 6 and are BOGOG. So, I brought 4 packets for £3 and using the £1 off, got them for £2, saving £4.
In addition to this, I had a voucher from a previous free Tesco magazine for 30 extra club card points on Tesco Finest Pasta sauce. I normally spend them on double up toys for DS, so thats an extra 60 free points.0 -

sorry if this is on the wrong place by the way. thanks x0 -

Telegraph article which does suggest you can wait for offers and glitches.
Previous discussions generally come to the conclusion that many coupons can only be used once per transaction, or limited to one per person, and so limits the potential savings for bulk purchases like you get in the USA.
I wonder how she appears to get so many duplicate vouchers?
I'm also wondering how many offers get illegally abused to generate some of these savings - like for instance doing multiple shops in different branches when the Tesco DTD Asda pricematch was on.
For moneysaving offers/glitches then you could triple your spending power from my little log of bargains I keep, but you generally don't get to choose specific products and need to grab glitches quickly.0 -
my little log of bargains...I keep a monthly record of the glitches/freebies etc I've had and it works out roughly tripling in value the actual money I've spent.
Most of the offers are grabbed from off here, and don't just get any old tat just because it is cheap or free.0
