Went to mobile phone repair shop - repair lasted 2 hours

Hi everyone,
I'll get down to business, I have a Blackberry, went to a local mobile phone repair shop and explained the problem (the trackpad had an issue).
The man there had a quick look after I'd explained the problem and he said 'I can fix this for £25'. It took half an hour to fix and when I got the phone back it worked fine. After 3 hours of use, the problem re-occured and its back to the way it was before it was repaired.
I'd go to the shop first thing tomorrow morning, but I've got a rubbish summer job where I work from 9-6 meaning I cant get to the shop on time. The next time I can get to the shop is this Saturday.
My plan is to call tomorrow morning, explain the repair lasted 2 hours and explain about my work and that ill be there first thing saturday morning. I'm not expecting to pay the £25 to get the guy to look at it again but I'm just wanting to know what my rights are here? Any tips on how to tackle the problem... I can see them charging me again?
Thanks,
Dex

Your rubbish summer job keeps the same hours as millions of other workers in this country, so I'd suggest you don't get to feeling too hard done by!
The repair, give them a call and tell them their repair didn't work - I'm sure they will offer to re-repair it for free. If they don't offer, you can ask them if they want to make their repair good or you'll accept a refund and take it to a different fixit place. I imagine they will want to remedy the repair.0 -
Thanks for the reply,
I dont mind the working hours with the job, it's that they wont let me off an hour or two early, or even 45 mins. I would have to take a holiday day and it just isnt worth it.
I called the shop, explained the situation, and they thanked me for letting them know and said they'd take another look at it on Saturday. Fingers crossed they can sort it this time around0
