You'll have to pay the remaining 8 months on the account, i.e. 8 x your monthly fee.
No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

Does anyone know their address in the UK? They don't answer their switchboard and neither do they respond to emails, so it's impossible to get in touch with them. I need to communicate with them, and I don't want to get involved with Ofcom at this stage.

Primus line rental plans have at least a 12-month minimum contract length, and are all subject to a 30-day notice period.

Thanks. Well that's news to me, and I'm beginning to get the feeling that Primus are bad news. There's no mention of who owns them on their website let alone a contact address, which I'm fairly sure is illegal. So they are trying to hide behind this New Call Telecom company. I'll be contacting them in the near future and see what happens, if anything.

Wish I'd read your comments last week, I'm waiting for Primus to install Phone/Broadband now already a week overdue, tried calling customer services but gave up after being 'on-hold' for 63 minutes!
