hi. lookin for advice please.
i currently have a trevi therm shower and been happy with the performance, however, the shower cubicle is a corner unit in bathroom and is causing damp problems to the adjoining bedroom wall.
i have an epoxy resin (sorry if spelt wrong)shower tray with a lip on the side that is tiled over.have had the shower re grouted several times over the last 10 year but still have a problem, the bedroom wall adjoining the bathroom wall is going to need replastering again on the shower side of the wall.
so i am thinking of getting a steam cabin or hydro shower, can anyone please advise on their own personal experience the advantage or disadvantage of either? please.
or does anyone have an alternative to solve my problem.(apart from the obvious of not having the shower cubicle were it is)thanks

Would you have the pressure to run a Steam cabin/Hydro shower?
What you could do when changing the cubicle is have Aquapanel fitted on the walls and/or tank the area where the cubicle is. This should also solve the problem if properly done.0 -
thanks cddc. yes i believe the pressure would be enough to run the steam cabin, son has one with a smaller combi boiler than mine and his works fine.
so aquapanel is fit with a normal shower cubicle?i will have to look it up, thanks. is it a plumber i need to call or a tiler for advice/quotes.0
