Cleaning Laminate Flooring

Having laminate flooring fitted at the weekend and was wondering what the best way to keep it clean is please. I hoover in there usually everyday due to cats and kids but will the hoover damage it? its also the sort with a grain in so worried that will make it harder to clean

The hoover won't damage it. Its very robust stuff.

In terms of mopping it, don't use lots of water. Wring the mop out really well so its just damp. I just use a little bit of washing up liquid in my (warm) water. I've had mione down for 10 years and still looking good.
