Chilli plants infected with white fly help

I have various chilli plants growing inside a small glass house. Somehow i noticed over the past few week small white pinhead size dots appearing over many leaves.
kept spraying with a vingegar/garlic solution but that seems to have had little impact. Had a look today and realise that they are actually small insects that appeared to have shed some skins.

what are these and what can be done preferably in organic method?

White fly are a right PITA. Firstly, make sure they are whitefly - is there a sticky residue all over the leaves? and they are Concorde shaped.

On chillis, I'd wipe over with warm soapy (washing up liquid) water; and maybe hang up a yellow fly catcher sheet - I'm not a bit fan of these, but they are excellent for whitefly, yet they also catch "the good guys" too.

will try spraying with soapy water, dont have a yellow fly catcher sheet.

will they wash off or are the plants ruined now?

They will suck the sap, and can kill a plant, fruit already formed should be OK-ish.

Try the wash and wipe method first if the infestation is quite new.

The yellow fly traps are approx £5 a pack in homebase.

just took all my plants outside and give them a thorough spray with the hose pipe. It did knock my plants over but hoping they will recover. Plus gave them a good soaking in weak washing up liquid spray!

Make sure you are opening up your glasshouse regularly to let ladybirds in as they will eat the whitefly.

A few days ago i found that all mine were smothered in the horrible things too :(

I`ve taken all the plants outside and stood them in the garden and the ladybirds have found them, there were two or three on each plant when i last looked. I`ve been spraying the plants each day with a strong garlic solution and each day i`ve taken a dry microfibre cloth to the leaves of one plant and when i`ve got all the nasties off i`m respraying it and putting it back into the green house.

The 7 or 8 plants that i still have to do have the most leaves so i`m not looking forward to doing those but i`m determined not to let the horrible things ruin my plants.

I`m also randomly spraying around inside the greenhouse with the garlic spray too and am toying with the idea of putting a clove of garlic in each pot on top of the soil.

    Good luck!

:D Or anywhere near for that matter, the house aroma is a bit overpowering when i`m boiling the stuff up to make the spray :p

Its weird as some of the bugs seem to hate it and vanish and some seem immune hence the cloth lol
