Chrome being Unresponsive

Hi
Recently my Chrome browser is getting unresponsive messages when browsing and giving me the option to either wait or kill the pages. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it but still having the same problem.
I regularly run anti-virus and malware software so i'm pretty sure my PC is not infected. My PC also is not slow in general.

I rather use Chrome than IE or Firefox so any fix would be appreciated.

Thanks

It depends exactly what the "unresponsive" message says, but it's far more likely to be a problem with your internet connection or the server that you are accessing than a problem with Chrome itself.

Try a different browser for a while and see how that performs. It's probably just that Chrome is busy uploading all your personal details to google :)

    What's that supposed to mean?

I also have this problem, but only occasionally. I run XP Home.
