Before I switch....some advice please
This morning I have been trolling through the minefield of gas suppliers as I am currently with Southern Electric. According to Uswitch and Moneysupermarket I would be better off with a dual fuel deal with Npower on the sign online 23 tarrif (I already have electric on the same deal with them).
My question is according to Uswitch I would be tied in with them until 2012 and charged £20 if I cancelled in that time (fair enough). Now will those prices be fixed until then, or can Npower change them at will?
I would be a bit peeved if I went to all the hassle of changing just for them to put the prices up next week?

Sign online 23 is a "guaranteed discount" tariff. The prices are not fixed, only "guaranteed" to be 2% cheaper than the standard tariff (as varied).
If you want "fixed" you need a "fixed price" tariff. There may be a few left at "pre-increase" pricing if you are quick.0 -
Thanks, I have managed to get a 12 months fixed deal. Pretty much the same as I'm on now, but i'll at least avoid the hikes for a year!0

There's no one else left now on the fixes...No free lunch, and no free laptop

EDF are at it again I think, trying to gain market share.0
