Dishwasher Takes 4 hours

Hi, I have a 6 year old Bosch dishwasher that suddenly has started to take more than 4hrs to complete the cycle. There are 3 settings that usually take from about 40mins to 1 hour 30 mins, but all are now taking more than 4 hours. chateauneufdupape but can you see scale on the element ? Just put a cup full of White Vinegar in and do a hot wash with machine empty.You can use the vinegar in the rinse aid compartment as well.
