E: 30/09? 7 night Holiday for 2 to Mauritius

To enter this competition, you'll need to turn to page 132 of the September 2011 issue of Cond! Nast Traveller magazine, and identify the island and the church in the picture (hopefully the helpful amsquared :A or Alix Bell :A will scan the picture for us when they get chance).
Correct answers will be entered into a random prize draw to win a seven-night holiday in Mauritius for two.
The prize includes bed-and-breakfast, accommodation in a Luxury Pavilion at the Oberoi Mauritius, and return flights from Heathrow with Air Mauritius, which flies direct from London to Mauritius six times per week; hotel transfers are also included. The holiday is subject to availability and must be taken by 30 August 2012. The period 14 December - 10 January is excluded, as are school holidays. For further information, call Seasons on 01244 202028 or 020 7158 0994.
Here's the clue:
It is a dedicated congregation that zigzags its way up the steps to this church. Or perhaps worshippers actually come for the view, across the bluest blue of the Aegean Sea all the way to a neighbouring Cyclades island. Once upon a time, so the story goes, an islander was kidnapped by pirates, along with various treasures. The ship capsized and everyone drowned, except for the prisoner, who clung to a stolen icon of the Virgin Mary and drifted ashore. In gratitude he built this church more than 200 meters above the sea. It is the most iconic of the many churches on this remote little island - very many indeed for so few inhabitants: around 650, and about the same number of donkeys, which can be used to carry those less-stoic churchgoers up the steep path. Where are you?
CN TRAVELLER SEPTEMBER WHERE ARE YOU? ENTER HERE
ANSWER- FOLEGANDROS ISLAND (please thank Mips :A for answer and photos, One-Eye :A for photo, and amsquared :A for scanned copy and confirmation :T)
Good luck everyone
I couldn't see specific end date, could someone let me know if they see it and I'll amend thread :T (guessedenddate)
