I have an Inspiron 1300, about 18 months old, which has a crack right down the middle of the screen.
Anybody any recommendations on who to go to for a replacement screen and to get it fixed.
Maybe cheaper just to buy a 2nd hand Insp1300 off ebay?

We run a pc shop and we know that screens are hugely expensive to replace and most people get a replacement laptop on the house insurance, as the insurance companies wont pay to get screens fixed or replaced.

My mate accidentally stood on her laptop, and broke the screen. We looked round fro a replacement screen and the price was huge, not worth repairing it.I would try like everyone else says, and claim off your house insurance.0
