  • Try http://www.ebaycalculator.co.uk they seem to be up to date You can also store your calculations if you do a lot and download them in excel format. Pretty nifty.

    paypal really do rip you off


    I'd read somewhere that ebay own Paypal. In effect paypal is ebay's finance department. If this is the case, all fees are ebay profits, also charging you on the postage from transactions.

    Standard PP accounts charge 3.4% + 20p per transaction.
    And ebay charges 10% on the final selling price but nothing on postage, but that's where PP charge. Although their policy is to charge their % on any amount that they handle, they do know what the postage cost is, as it gives a breakdown. So shouldn't they exclude the 3.4% on the postage sum?

    Of course you can have other fees; Insertion, feature...etc.etc.
