I have Telewest 2mb broadband. From this I'm running my desktop PC and a TV Digibox. If I install a second digibox upstairs will this result in a drop in performance on the PC if all three sources are using the broadband supply simultaneously? Does anyone know whether increasing the number of devices using the broadband width like this does decrease computer performance, ie, slowing down or freezing?. Would increasing the broadband to 4mb. overcome this? How stupid am I but I simply don't know. can anyone advise.

I've recently added a 2nd digi box upstairs and the broadband still runs the same as before. I haven't noticed any performance reduction with my broadband anyway...download speeds are still the same as before.
I would think that your broadband modem controls the demand on the line as one of my friends reduced their speed from 4Mb to 2Mb and they had to reset the modem and PC after speaking with TW.
Hope this is some help.
