tax credits confusion

Iv had a letter from tax credits saying we owe them £2400 despite the fact i ALWAYS tell them changes of circumstance. The woman i spoke to said that id get childcare element due to college but according to this letter i now have i dont. I wasnt allowed any ALG as i earned money the previous year. Im officially screwed and now i cant stop been sick.

I really REALLY dont know what to do i cant afford to pay that back, they said i can have £600 till april next year, which i dont know how ill live off. Andy only earns £20k and pays £80 a WEEK to get to work and back,

CAB on Monday me thinks :(

Are you working 16+ hours in addition to college, if not they are correct as you both need to be working 16+ hours to get the childcare element. Is there any help with childcare costs from your college?

Nope I was in college full time. I checked 3 times it was right n the woman I spoke to said yes yes its right working tax will go but child tax will increase. I wasn't given any help from college for child care as is worked the previous year. Wonder if there's a market for chubby pregnant escorts haha
