Stuff comes off ceiling when taking masking tape off, what is it please?

Hi there,
Done some painting and used masking tape around the ceiling to protect from paint.
However, when pulling the masking tape away, some of the stuff - seems papery with some kind of white dried powder comes away. Pics enclosed (white = ceiling, magnolia = wall).
What can I use to fill it in?

Masking Tape has pulled the artex off the edge used to cover over the corner tape before artexing.our be better off just cutting in the ceiling line.I take it your not painting the ceiling first.Just use any filler to cover over the areas such as poly filla or easy fill,then touch up0
