What is the difference between these two types of discs? My dvd recorder accepts both but which is best/cheapest to use for rewriting?
Any comments appreciated.

the question was asked yesterday if you look back through the older threads0

I did a search before I posted the question and nothing was found, hence the reason I asked.0

There's nothing in it these days. A lot of older consumer dvd players didnt like the +rw discs. Now a lot of cheaper newer ones will only play +rw discs (somethign to do with the licensing of + technology being cheaper...).
Yours does both so no worries. Both have same capacity. Perhaps the +rw may format quicker with the wind in the right direction. There's little in it.
Get a decent brand though. Plenty of info here:- http://svp.co.uk/
