sky upfront line rental

have just phoned sky 2 ask them 4 there upfront line rental.they said that i coulnt have it because it would affect the payments on my account .i have sky tv ,broadband ,sky talk and the pay monthly line rental .has any one else been told this ?or should i go back 2 bt? they do a similar offer. any thoughts?:money:

From what I know, BT are the only ones who allow you to pre-pay a years worth of line rental in advance (while offering a discount). If you're not tied in with Sky in a long term contract, there's nothing stopping you from moving to BT.

I'd just watch out that Sky wont charge you more for broadband and/or Sky Talk, if you don't pay them them your line rental.
