Underlay for cushioned flooring?

we have taken up the laminate flooring from the bathroom with the intension of putting down cushioned flooring instead. The skirting boards were put on after the flooring was in so now we are going to have a gap between the cushion floor and bottom of skirting boards.
is there anything we can put under the cushion floor to prevent this?

Sheets of plywood could raise the height enough for you just make sure that they are secured with screws and be careful not to go through pipes0

thanks for the suggestions
looks like we going to get them to fit then decide on what to do after looking at the size of the gap cos its going to be a pain to put any wood down and cant put taller skirting on so its either put sealent round if gap small enough or wood or pvc trim. will be done next weekend so will wait and see what happensHave a Bsc Hons open degree from the Open University 2015 :j:D:eek::T0
