Hi, you wouldn't generally need a lot as you are DBB as i find most of the money would go on meals. The fairground is free as are the pools & some activities during the day.
Really you only need money for drinks & snacks throughout the day evening, also if you plan to leave the park to go into Skegness itself, parking i think is around £7 for the day in skegness. Plenty to do in there plus a nice beach though.0 -
hi ive not long returned from butlins and we spent around £500 for 2 adult and 2 kids for 5 days (way more then we needed to but partner kept giving in to the kids) we were also dbb we found that we spent a lot of time in inglodmells and payed £5 a day parking probably could of saved a fortune its only a 10 min walk from butlins. Also remember butlins do the drink refill cups that i always buy as there £1.99 to refill and last the kids all night hope you enjoy yourselfs and the weathers better then when we were there.0

Hi
We have just returned from Butlins Skegness. We have children 6,10 and 13 and they had a fab time. They did most of the clubs which were available and FREE!
Apart from the original layout on the holiday we didn't spend much at all really. The clubs are free (except a few which are £1.50 ish), Splashworld is fab and the rides too are free.
I made sure the kids ate really well at breakfast and to be honest they had such a busy day with the clubs and rides they weren't that hungry and just had fruit bars, crisps and drinks which I had taken with us.
We only left the camp when we were leaving as there was plenty to do and even then we didn't get to do everything.
The evening entertainment in Reds or Centre stage is a bit like mayhem as people start queueing an hour or so early (which we didn't as the kids can go down to the stage area and sit on the floor whenever you get in) Prices for drinks is quite high in there as a pint of Carlsberg is £3.20 (not high if you're a southerner but high if you're used to a Working Mans Club in the North!!) Security also stop you from taking any drinks in so don't try! You can sit in the Skyline Pavilion where there is entertainment and drink your own drinks and snacks.
We bought I refill cup (£3.95 I think, including drink and then refill £1.95 which the three kids shared!) They were that busy dancing and being entertained that most nights they only had one.
The kids had a bag of change each (2p) which we had saved a few weeks before and they used those on the slots.
Have a great time and pray for no rain as it can get busy in the pool (and they sometimes close the doors) if there are too many in there. Aim to get to the resort at 12pm and keep swimming gear separate and go into the pool before checking in as it's quiet in there on changeover days.
Have fun but be prepared to be very tired on your return home. It's going to take me a week to get over it but it WAS well worth the money.Life is a rollercoaster.....ya just gotta ride it:whistle:0
