Whilst I don't want to seem like a nag. You shouldn't really do this, as I'm prertty sure they can't get their money back.
Its already hard enough using coupons at the moment, without people making it worse.

I got the same coupon on the Heinz 40p off from sainsbury...but i checked with my supermarket it only cost £1.29 in sainsbury... why would you need to spend the coupon in Tesco its not cheaper and you can still get point from sainsbury.

You may of got away with it this time but it just make it harder on everyone else. Thanks.

as a newbie you won't know all the ins and outs but one thing we don't encourage is mis redemption of coupons. to much of this and stores will just stop taking them .

a short term gain for one could lead to a long term loss for all

No wonder I have been having trouble using coupons in tesco (as have a few others) when people do this.:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:.

This is the copy of the email, which most people on this thread have got through Email.

Having addressed your query with our Customer Service Operations Manager responsible for our Cash and Coupon Acceptance policy, I can confirm that we accept competitor conditional spend coupons from both Marks and Spencer, and for Waitrose.

For future reference, my colleague added that we accept coupons from the following competitors:

Sainsbury
Waitrose
Morrisons
ALDI
Marks & Spencer
Boots
Co-Op
ASDA

Perhaps this needs to come out of the first posts? The bit I've highlighted in red says that they accept coupons from the following stores, it does not say conditional spends. As a newbie- I read it like that- ie all coupons.I know better now but I can totally understand why newbies think its ok to use other stores' coupons at tesco. Just a thought- I'm not trying to be awkward- honestly!

At my local T where I get this water the promo codes are only on oranges and lemons water, not on lime and lemons, so I first check if the code is there, then grab. They don't have raspberry variety, though:(
