  • Just want to say a huge "Thank You" to the OP for the Persil Non Bio voucher, and also for the advice on here that the 85-wash bottle was reduced from £16 to £8 in Mr S, so £7 with coupon. :j

I am near Mr T tomorrow, so have my Honey Shreddies coupon and Comfort Pure one ready. Have a good, and coupon-happy, weekend, everyone. :)

    xx

BTW I had problems with a male trout supervisor in wilkinsons, tried to get the dettol handwash system using the voucher so it was £1.99, and he was so rude, told me I couldnt have it as it was on offer and I would be getting it for next to nothing, and it wouldnt be fair on others! I said to him that I had biught things on offer before and used vouchers, but he just shrugged!:mad::mad::mad: I then said I would take it up with head office, and he shrugged again!:mad::mad:So.... I was very petty really, stood outside, phoned their head office, said what had happened and they phoned the trout (while I was on hold), came back to me, and said if I would go back in the shop and ask for him, he would be pleased to help me with my purchase (using the voucher!). Went back in (embarrassed, but by this point it was a matter of principle!) :o:o:o:oand he gave me the hanwash system, took my voucher, apologised for being rude, and gave me a £5.00 gift card by way of apology!:T:T:T:T:T

I'm really pleased you got a result, well done you for standing up for yourself! :T:T:T

    Well done BB34, that is a result.:T:T:T:T:T:T:T

You were really brave to stand your ground like this and came out a winner.

I rarely get to Wilkos and used some dettol coupons in there a couple of weeks ago. They did go and phone someone to check that I could use them though.

But what a result, don't you think using coupons makes you a stronger person in a way, it makes you stand up for yourself. :):):):):):):)

    Well done again:T:T:T

What wont help is people doing what someone on the grabbit forum has just posted.
He/she got 136 boxes of shreddies today and 82 jars of Sacla sauce yesterday!

Now that is bad and it certainly won't help us persuade supermarkets that we are not abusing the coupon policy.

This is why I prefer that people do not post coupons on the grabbit thread, its not really the place for them. This is the coupon thread after all.

The "oldies" on this thread remember the old coupon policy. That was fabulous as tesco took any coupon as long as they sold the product. Unfortunately some people abused the system big time and the policy was changed without any warning.

We will just have to wait and see what happens.
