  • Has anyone used the Andrex washlet voucher on page 1 against the refill packs or is it just the main pack with the tub? The refills are reduced to £1 in Asda so would only cost 50p but don't want to cause embarrassment for myself as the voucher doesn't specify either way. The photo on the voucher is of the tub.
    Thanks!
My mantra is "Never pay full price!" ;)

  • Oh, for those who like the pirates of the carribean, tescos are selling it at £8 when you spend thirty pounds on anything else, and sainsburys are selling it £9.99 if you don't want to buy anything else. In telcos the blue ray isn't on the offer though.

Just been to Asda and got 4 Comfort Pure, went to SS and immediately SA came to me and accused me of fraud, photocopying etc...

Then said "We do not accept internet coupons anymore as from yesterday" I said "Oh that is strange I used them 2 days ago (4) and they went through fine and were approved"

I even offered to show her the PDF on my phone but she was having none of it.

    New rules she said???

    Sooooooooo embarrassed :o:o:o:o

    How embarassing:o:o:o:o.

I used 2 internet coupons in asda yesterday without any problems.

As a matter of interest, did you just cut your coupon around the writing part, or did you include the pictures on the left side.

The coupons seem to be more acceptable if they include the picture, just makes it look a bit better.

Unfortunately some coupons, like this one and the bic one, do look really fake, even to me. Leaving the picture on seems to make it look more authentic.:):):):):)

Our local wilkos do accept the coupons..;)

May be worth a try :)
  • How do you guys find all of these coupons? I've spent ages on the internet today looking for coupons so I could contribute properly to this thread but I couldn't find anything not already mentioned.

Oh well, I'll have to keep looking & will let you know if I find anything. I want to repay the help I've had from here.

    Hi
    Welcome to the coupon thread.

Most people do find a coupon sooner or later, but in the meantime just keep checking the thread, I am sure you will be able to use some of the coupons on page 1.

People just google various brand names in the hope they spot a coupon.

I found the Wrights coupon which has been live for 2 years now. I just googled flour coupon and found it that way.

Its just a matter of luck, so happy coupon hunting.:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

I asked a lovely lady today in Asda (who had the best name ever!) what exactly they can and can't accept. She said that they accept anything so long as you've bought the product and it's in date. She then went on to ask me where I got my coupons and congratulated me on saving £20.

I am sorry for my outburst last night but I really cannot afford to live right now (and I know lots of people are in the same boat) and for people to misuse coupons completely is blates going to get them withdrawn.

But thats the last i'll say and i'll go back into hiding and wont post anymore.

Thanks to all for the help & advice and the coupons (of course)

    S. xx

Steffi don't just leave the thread.

Last night got far too heated and upset a lot of people. But the majority of the people who are on this thread really care that the policy for coupon use stays in place and doesn't deteriorate any further.

Everyone just needs to be sensible in using coupons. No matter how much we like the way coupons are used in America we can't do it here. Our supermarkets are a lot meaner, I suppose, that over the water.

If everyone is sensible then we all benefit and save money. :T:T:T:T

So, don't go, stay and keep the coupon policy in place, that way we all benefit.
