Nipped into Mr T's for some free custard so didn't really want to put her in a big trolley just for little pots of custard lol so just let her walk with me, so while I'm busy putting the custard through the SS tills she's emptying the bin of thrown away reciepts and putting them in my bag!! :rotfl::rotfl:

Hi all! I'm really sorry because i'm sure you hear this all the time but i'm new to couponing.
Last week (on our first full weeks shop with coupons) Mum and I went to Asda to do our shop - as per - and when we paid we had 14 coupons to use.
Not only was the girl shocked that they existed, when she scanned them all it wouldn't let her finish the transaction without a supervisor override.
She had no idea why as we had all the products we had coupons for but we both wondered if it was the amount we had.
I emailed Asda asking for their coupon policy but they still haven't replied (says it will take no more than 48 hours to get back)
Just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue with Asda or if they know the policy.
Thanks in advance.
p.s. I didn't get todays email! What else have I done wrong! xxGotta love the sound of coupons printing in the morning0 -
Just got back from the lastest haul from Co-Op, interesting experience this time around.
Got;
Dettol Spray - £1.29 - 50p off coupon
Dettol Wipes (extra large pack) - £1.99 - 50p off coupon
Philadelphia - £1.72 - £1 off coupon
2 x Clover - 2 for £2.25 - 2 x 30p off coupons
2 x Campbells Condensed Soup - 2 for £1.20 - 2 x Free coupons (limited to 1 per customer but I knew the SA.)
After I'd give the SA the coupons she said 'You do have all these products don't you?'
And after she scanned them all she said 'Where did you get them all from?'
Me: 'internet'
SA: 'Ohhh... Are we allowed to use them??'
Me: 'Yes, I've looked it up'
SA: 'Well thats ok then'
lol was quite amuzing.
---
I believe I saw dettol for £1 aswell for anyone that want to know, didn't get any because I used all the coupons up.

Unfortunately this does make it hard for us coupon users, but hey, we know the rules better than they do and will carry on saving money in this way.
I have to say though that I have noticed more and more SA's are scared of accepting coupons and will say "I just need to check if I can accept this as I got in trouble last week for accepting a coupon".
CWxx
There are a lot of coupons I don't print as I wouldn't normally buy the product. I do ask family if they want these ones, but can't seem to get any of them to understand how much they can save with just a little effort.
Thanks for the campbells info. I think I missed this before. But free soup? And it will have a long shelf life as well:)weight loss target 23lbs/49lb0 -

This is pretty normal for Adsa, I'm not sure what the limit is before authorization is needed (maybe 3, I remember someone saying??) but I've had this everytime I've used coupons in there. As long as you've bought the products they don't seem to mind, well in my store anyway.:j First mini munchkin due 05/04/2013 :j0
