car charging a laptop

Daughter has an ACER happy one netbook.

Is it possible to charge this whilst its in use from a 12 volt car outlet

If it is would somebody kindly point me in the direction of a cheap cable

You can pick up a laptop charger for about £10 on ebay. Look up Laptop car charger

I have an inverter for charging my laptop whilst out and about, it worked out the same as a dedicated car charger. There is one here on Play that would do the job.
Handy for other devices too although it is limited to 140 watts.

car battery 12volt/24volt depending on car,
car laptop charger 12volts as 98% of all cars have a 12volt socket inside whether or not they are working due to wiring.

if anything you'll be draining the car battery and if drained to much will be unable to start the car.
