Does any Know if the Navman works directly from the box!
Only I have just purchased one charged it put the GB SD card in and it finds the GPS signal and shows me the local villages but does not go down to or show street or road level and just ask's to go to nearest road!!!!!
Iam I doing something wrong do I need to load something from the software

Navman do work straight out of the box just insert sd card and charge. I used to have one, if I remember correctly the middle 4 way button , by moving up and down it zoom's in and out.0

Thanks for your reply, went back to Halfords and they could not get the maps up either but they gould not replace it without an OK from Navman support! who they phoned and after trying a couple of things they said it needed software upgrade.
So like a fool :wall: I went home got on their web site did the upgrade and it still refused to bring the maps up.
So I went back to Halfords with a print out of the latest software download I had put on the unit they rang Tech support and gave them the OK to replace the unit so I got them to test it this time and it picked up GPS straight away and brought up all the streets and roads :T.
Now it is up and running I must say despite the problem with the first one it does seem a good piece of kit for the price.0
