Composite Door Installation

Options
Hi there, Do you know an independent composite door fitter/installer in the Leeds (West Yorkshire) area? I was quite shocked by the prices of these doors, when offered by local glazing firms, and wondered if you know of anyone who operates in the area. Kaybee online looks to have better prices on the doors, then it would just be a case of getting them installed.

Also, another option would be to install them myself. Has anyone had a go at doing this before, and how easy is it?

Thanks

Thanks Esmy, I will look into that company. Jusy been to shop in Leeds, the prices for the G-l doors seemed quite good, but installation price for a single door was £250! Apparently, they keep the door prices low and take out their wage from the installation. However, shop did say that the cost would reduce to £500 for 3 doors. I will keep looking, but it is not that easy to get info. on this market plus the larger door comps seem to sell slightly different composite doors, whilst maintaining the same price point, hmmmm... I got two quotes for a R-kdoor on the first day of research, one was £1100 and the other £1500. I am not just looking at R-kdoors, though.

Pinkmami, the company site, lists prices. Sorry, i am not able to post a link.

We've just (last month) had a composite door fitted and were totaly satisfied with the price and the door. The door we had fitted is a Veka Composite Door System. The firm is in LS19, near the Leeds/Bradford airport. I don't know how much exactly the door & fitting was, as we had new glass put in a window as well. The total for both was £1,000, including fitting.
The door we had fitted was the Crown (1) style with Royale glass pattern and silver coloured hardware. Here's the link, hope it works..
