That's great Sue!
Thanks for the tip Gregg.
I think if the bank account will cover my conditions it's worth it - I know I'll have to make the phonecalls still, but it'll cover me for all trips. As I want to interrail, it'd be a nightmare to get single trip cover as I'll hopefully be visiting at least five countries over the course of a few weeks.Unless I say otherwise 'you' means the general you not you specifically.0 -
These cover for most conditions

But I found annual cover via O2 was cheapest for me and all my disabilities.

If you have a Nationwide Flex A/c and you pay in £750 a month you get Free European Travel Insurance, but I don't know if they will cover any disabilities etc.

I have since found if I upgrade my Bank A/c they will cover all my conditions included in the monthly fee, plus I get all the other bits which come with it (Car Breakdown Cover, Mobile Phone Insurance etc). Most Banks offer these types of A/c's they seem to range in price from £7.95 to £25, Halifax for example charge £15 but if you pay in £1k a month they give you £5, so works out at £10; some offer Worldwide Cover others it's European, so it's best to look at all banks web sites, see what they offer and the cost then phone to check if they will cover your conditions included in the fee, if not find out how much more and compare it to the next one and just work through them to find the best one for you.

But don't just rely on a EHIC Card, if you need flying home etc it will cost a futune.0
