Ex boyfriend, never married. There is a mortgage yes.
He went bankrupt and im in the process of buying his beneficial interest fron his Insolvency Practitioner but the want £5k for his share of the equity. I dont have £5k floating about an di dont want to lose my house. In 2 years the IP can either hand back his 1/2 of the property to him or sell the house from under me to raise the cash to cover his debts.
Long story short, the ex is happy to sign to say he no longer has any financial interest in the property as he would not recieve anything if i sold it anyway as its in the hands of the IP (until the 2 years are up).
I just need to know what form it is so i can get the ball rolling without having to get to the courthouse twice, im so busy.
Anyone???

he cannot just give you the interest because it is not his to give. It costs £5k, and it belongs to his creditors. So no, you can't just get a form signed. Find the £5k any way you can.Debt free 4th April 2007.
