Debenhams store card

Hi, I recently sent a claim to santander regarding a debenahams store card, my reasons being the sales person failed to tell me anything about the cover didn't mention it at all, she filled the form in and told me where to sign if she had told me I would have said no as I already had cover in place. Santander have sent letter within a week saying I signed and they can find no evidence of mis-selling therefore no refund will be paid, what next?

Hi Weechicken, i just called santander now as i noticed on my debenhams store card statement that I had account cover- he pulled up my original application from 2001 and told me i had ticked and signed the box for this facility and i explained that i didnt know i had it or what it was actually for. He advised me to write to them at Santander Cards UK, PO BOX 700, Leeds LS99 2BD.

Looking through the PPI reclaim pages it seems even if you did tick to take out the cover you can still reclaim if it was mis-sold (ie you didnt actually need it).

I have just had a reply to my claim for mis-sold PPI. It reads as a standard response as it refers to information that i did not include in my complaint letter.
My card was taken out in 2002, so while rejecting my complaint, it refers me to the Finance and Leasing association.

Can anyone tell me how to proceed?
i.e do i refer this on to the Ombudsman, the FSA, or someone else, or do I call it a day?
