In sunday times halifax websaver up to 4.9% from wednesday only .2% rise.

Did it say whether their other accounts were increasing? Their bonds haven't increased since June! On Saturday we were going to transfer a 6 month bond which is about to mature. However, their best rate for 6 months was 4.76% and 5.10% for a year!
Changed our minds and when the maturity cheque arrives we will place it in Birmingham Midshires, a couple of shops up from the Halifax, who are offering 5.76%.
Mr Libra isn't too keen on banking in internet (only) banks, so ING and Cahoot are out.
The irony is Birmingham Midshires are part of the Halifax.0
