Crosby Kitchens/RWK Kitchens

Hi, we're in the process of getting quotations for a new kitchen. The two we're keen on are by Crosby and RWK (german make). Does anyone have any experience of either of these makes and if so how do you find the quality ?

Kuhlmann (RWK) are fantastic kitchens, I used to sell them at an independent up in Scotland. Would highly recommend them. Crosby, in comparison, are not the same quality...

Thanks Meepster, we certainly prefer the RWK kitchen, not convinced that it'll fit into our budget though but we'll see.

With regards to Crosby, I'm struggling to understand where they fit into things ie are they comparable with the likes of Howdens, Ikea or better/worse.

Crosby are better than the likes of Ikea or Howdens, but no where near as good as any of the German brands.

If RWK works out a little expensive, have a look round and find someone who sells Hacker kitchens, still German, but prices are a fair bit less than RWK...

RWK are a good make of kitchen but if your budget stretches to RWK, then there are several others to consider for that sort of budget/quality.

For a bit less you can get Hacker Classic/Schuller (their basic range)/Nobilia/Bauformat/Wellmann. All of these are entry level budget kitchens in Germany. Still decent products but not really in the same league as RWK IMHO.

Thanks again to Meepster and also to KMDesign. Will certainly give some consideration to the other brands you mention. We have been round a few showrooms but have struggled to find anything quite like the RWK one we like. One or two other places we can still look at though.
