On the subject of views, I am always baffled by programmes such as Grand Designs, where Kevin McCloud always says at some point, "and of course, you have that wonderful view", and the camera pans round to look out of the window (or where it will be). Confused, I look in vain for raging rivers or mountain ranges and think, "It's not a view, it's just a field!".0 -
