SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

Imagine someone holding forth on biology whose only knowledge of the subject is the Book of British Birds, and you have a rough idea of what it feels like to read Richard Dawkins on theology: Terry Eagleton0 -

Had he been born in the modern football era where there is more player protection and much more money, he would probably have had a mansion, as it was after he was forced to retire he took advantage of a Football Association grant to retrain as a physiotherapist and chiropodist.
He was also quite a talented artist.

But a proper Englishman knows how to spell 'Theatre', (pic 13 - american spelling Theater). But they obviously like a bit of Corrie!:rotfl:0 -
Also here at The Register (a sort of Techie with a Tabloid slant site)We asked the good folk at Electrical Safety First for their thoughts on the setup, and they didn't quite know what to make of it.
"One would imagine it would overload the fusebox, although this might be dealt with if the room was on a separate circuit. But if you used all the sockets it would most likely blow the circuit breaker/RCD on that circuit. (Difficult to say, as we don't know what is being plugged in).
"Another thing to consider would be the number of holes in the walls created by putting in all those sockets – this could increase the risk of fire spreading, should one start."
They concluded: "While it might be feasible to have all these sockets, we wouldn't recommend it.
"As to what it is used for – no idea!"
Some more speculation in the comments there.
