Maybe it's the external appearance which knocks the price down. The interior won't be to a lot of people's tastes either but can easily be changed, there's not a great deal you can do about the ugly exterior though. It reminds me of a scaled down version of the type of low rise office buildings you find on industrial estates.0 -
Picture 2 is just full of crap though, the photo of the kitchen is better.0 -
Do you like colour? I particularly like the picture of Mao Zedong in the bedroom. I'm not sure if it's ironic given that Thorntohall has the highest concentration of millionaires in Scotland in part because there is no, and has never been, any social housing in the village.

Don't love all the decor, and hate the tiled bathroom that feels like the toilets in a hotel, but love the house. Obv if one is going to have a pool in Glasgow it needs to be indoors - unless it's super heated and you want to run through sleet in July from the house to the garden to use it outdoorsFeb 2015 NSD Challenge 8/12JAN NSD 11/16

That's what I was thinking. If you check out the competition they're all much nicer externally.0 -

Rumour has it that this house was Adele’s country pad but someone like you - might like to live here. For £7.25 mil you could say Hello to a rock stars lifestyle. With both an indoor and an outdoor pool – you could be rolling in the deep end whatever the weather.
With the River Adur flowing nearby, water under the bridge on the drive home is guaranteed. All I ask – is that you have the roof surveyed as it would be a very expensive Skyfall if its not kept in top condition….
Sorry couldn't resist.
But I bet you could earn a bit towards the council tax bill as a film set though - and you could have a whole fleet of ride on mowers.

Everyone's hero... Chairman Mao... :rotfl:
Tbh though, what's with the pool balls photo? Just why??0 -
Here's an interesting cheapie with lots of unusual things to discover and a very grand entrance. Owners like their wood panelling and old furniture. As a gardener I'm impressed with their pleached leylandii; never seen that before!

Why bother wasting a few quid on a TV stand?
