The cakes on a stand, with one cake on a plate with a fork next to it half eaten, the magazine open on the coffee table, the strategically placed throws...
It was pretentious, you're right.
More properties on the market with this EA with OTT staged photos.

With this one, http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-65367104.html, I don't mind of close up photos of original features such as fireplaces, flooring. It's the close ups of cushions, soap dispensers, kettle etc which are the vendor's property and will be taking them when they do move.
If the vendor has a dog, it has to be included in at least one photo.0 -

Good grief - there's even a photo of a bubble bath with candles!
On one of those properties there were over half "artsy" photos compared to actual shots of the house. Enough!
I think the EA thinks he is producing an article for Homes & Garden magazine rather than marketing a property!Ageing is a privilege not everyone gets.0 -
Where I used to work my office had a wall full of shelves. One section of them was hinged as a secret door that lead to a staircase to a self contained flat.
SPCome on people, it's not difficult: lose means to be unable to find, loose means not being fixed in place. So if you have a hole in your pocket you might lose your loose change.0 -

Still, it's amusing what Mr &Mrs Clarke might do with something very averagely priced, like this:

Love the 'games room.' Interesting bathroom facilities too. Make a feature I'm sure.0 -
I can't decide if that's a mirror or a picture!
I know EAs like a bit of 'puff' with their wording, but is this really 'A stunning 1930's detached house'
Easily stunned I think!
...and the first one that can identify who that "guru" in the picture is presumably gets a prize?:rotfl:0 -

Good parking, nice location, farmhouse style kitchen, you say? Ok, yep, I've got all that, but do you think maybe we could talk about the druidic stone circle in the garden? No?0 -

Haha. No you could lock it from either side but it did have a control panel for the building alarm so you could retreat to it and alarm the rest of the building.
It was a two storey building but this flat was up a flight of stairs and located in the loft space. It was only a bed sitting room, a galley kitchen and a shower room but comfortable enough.0
