I love Mr Greens way with words... '10 minute walk to the beach (if you’ve got long legs). Would suit Scrabble champion.' :rotfl:

    http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-31619224.html

And 'This place has a proper balcony too, not a token balcony that you can’t fit a chair on. When do you ever hear “I’m just popping out for a stand-up on the balcony”?! What is the point in putting a balcony on a property that you can’t sit out on? Heck, you can go out on the balcony, when it’s infrequently sunny in this country, sit down and enjoy a book. Or, breakfast! Imagine eating breakfast in the sun on a nice morning. Two of you, together, at the same time. Lovely.' :D

'Gas mask not required for viewing.':rotfl::rotfl:

'There’s a hobbling fox that sleeps on the garage roof. How on earth can a hobbling fox jump on top of a garage?! I reckon he must have built a little ramp round the back. Or, the hobble is just a clever little foxy sympathy act to pull at the heart strings in the hope for some leftover dinner. My girlfriend would have given him a fresh bed, food bowl and daily fresh water if she’d seen him hobbling around on that roof. I’d probably come home to find I’m sleeping on the sofa and foxy is on my side of the bed. If you’re worried about this happening to you, the rooms are big enough for king size beds... Just saying.'

    OMG a £1,400,000 eyesore!!!!

But you're less than 100 metres from the sea and within a 15 minute walk from Gunwharf the 'trendy' area with shops and bars. (I wouldn't pay that much for it either, but it's location you're paying for here)

100 metres from the sea!! a 15 minute walk to trendy shops and bars!! that seems to place it well outside the desired areas and it still cost one million and four hundred thousand pounds and looks like a block of rental flats in Kings Lynn!!!
    Slightly bitter

AFAIK those air fresheners are put in by companies that clear properties, change the locks and clean on behalf of mortgage companies that have repossessed the property. Not saying that this is the case in this instance though.

I'm not sure what the nasty platform thing is for.

I've seen interiors like this in magazines. That area would be the bedroom so it's slightly seperated from the rest of the house.

    In theory. :/
