I don't think that would pass building regs. A heat source like that directly under a means of a fire escape. I'm always surprised when you see staircases in a kitchen with no fire door inbetween the kitchen and upstairs.0 -

That's absolutely bonkers! I can only imagine how horrible it would be to cook there and try to keep that area clean. What's weird is that it doesn't look like a small kitchen either, it's just an absolutely ridiculous use of space.0 -

Feb 2012 - onwards MF achieved
